I am an aspiring writer and curator interested in contemporary arts and collection management. My background is in fine arts and linguistics. Nowadays I am interested in works from our Asia Pacific region and seeing these artists represented within local and international institutions. CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF LISA REIHANA’S ‘IN PURSUIT OF VENNUS [INFECTED]’.

I have submitted a critical analysis of Lisa Reihana's 'In Pursuit of Venus [Infected]'. I consider the two times I have seen this work in person at the Venice Biennale and the Asia Pacific Triennial. In aligning with contemporary decolonial discourses the analysis highlights how Reihana returns and challenges the colonial gaze.
