An annual exhibition supported by the Arc, exploring the dynamic interpretations of feminist art practices today. Since its inception in 1991, this annual show by the College of Fine Arts Women’s Collective provides an alternative platform for feminist discourse and aims to represent the diverse influences that characterises feminism in art.

Textile artists utilize traditional craft techniques that are slowly being forgotten, methods which themselves recall times past. Through the use of these processes, which can be seen as a type of remembering, the works also deconstruct and redefine notions of ‘craft’ and ‘textiles’ as artists place them within contemporary conceptual frameworks.

26. Tim Olsen Drawing Prize 2008

A collaborative initiative, now in its eighth year, between the Tim Olsen Gallery and the Department of Drawing and Painting at COFA, with the intention of encouraging excellence in drawing.

Presented by Dirty Hands Collective, a group of graduating students from COFA practicing etching, collograph, screen printing, lino and more, ‘Itchy Feet” features ten emerging printmakers itching to get their dirty hands all over the art world.
